The challenge: For an existing house across the street from Narragansett Bay, add a second and third floor in an “upside down” arrangement.

The solution: One of the best rooms we’ve created comes with an outdoor room as well. Both overlook the bay above the rooftops of the houses across the street. A playroom for the twins tops it off.
